aluminum

I have been noticing some really cool can designs lately.  I am really interested in the layout, color choices and different font styles.  I would love to paint some kind of logo across a painting, if it worked of course.  Here are a few that have caught my attention.

Diet Coke
Red Bull

Magic Hat #9

Brooklyn Summer Ale
 And Rochester's own....

Genesee Beer

Genesse Bock Beer
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.  Also, I will try to post some images of that little attic/master bedroom, bathroom project.  It's happening, just a bit slower then planned.

the Joy Formidable

Jen and I went with some friends a few months back to see them.  They were unbelievable.  I couldn't believe that a 3 person band could be so loud and jam so hard.  They only played for about 50 minutes, but other then that the show was great.  Check them out.

Jen waiting for the band
We did end up meeting the band, super nice.  I wish this image was not blurry.  I can't figure out why some images from my phone are blurry and others are not.  I don't change any settings.  What the shit?!

And another song by the Joy Formidable.

last day

A little warmth heading into winter.  This is Chapel at hamlin beach, our last beach day of the year.  Yes, this was about 2 months ago.  (If you haven't noticed, I am trying to jam a bunch of things in that I have not gotten to.)  Here she is....

PasSage

These are images from my show at the PasSage space at the U of R.

It is a really great space with high traffic.  Thanks again U of R!!!

wow

Wow is the only word that comes to mind when I think about Friday night.  It was pretty unbelievable.  I am talking about the opening of Pistachio Press: Letterpress and local.  It also marked the opening of our new studio space.  It was four hours of non stop everything.  Talking, meeting people, catching up with friends, exchanging info etc.  I thought it would be a big night, but it was better then we could have imagined.  Thank you to everyone who attended.  If you didn't get the chance, STOP IN!!  Art is still up on the walls and the shop is officially open.
