studio dog/work in progress
Chapel is doing great, we try and bring her everywhere. I love the second image, it is like she is showing off her collection. The last three images are obviously the works in progress. It is also obvious not much has been done in December. I am really happy with the body change to Gino in the last image. It shows his giant head better.
The paintings in the top image are Jens. She appears with Chapel in the third image. Alright, enough with the word image. Later.
street art
Street artist Olek recently gave the Wall Street Bull a new look with this custom crocheted outfit... but she says, “It lasted 2 hours." She posted this photo on her Facebook yesterday, with the message: "Happy Bullish 2011!" By that time the bull had shed its new colorful skin, however—which is a shame because those colors probably would have really popped in this blizzard! [via Animal]

december already?
Unbelievable. 2010 is almost over. The first snow fall happened two days ago. I have had a packed couple of weeks so blogging has been minimal. I will try to post what has been going on, nothing really special, but it will give me material to post about:) Until then, I am getting ready for Anderson Alleys Holiday Gala which begins tonight.

My inner BR
I cracked open the Bob Ross paint last night. I am praying it does not yellow because it is kind of old. An aspiring painter gave it to me a few months ago.
It was very gooey, and the oil was floating on top inside the can. We will see what happens.

session
I had a really good painting session tonight. I am a bit tired of seeing NOTHING written on my wall. It is dim in the studio so one of the paintings I could not get a good shot of. Here is the other. Let me know what you think......
It still needs a lot of work, but I like the direction it is heading. I also switched up my music selection tonight from the usual rap on pandora, (wu-tang lately) to the Regina Spektor station. I think that made a difference.

the Cliff Bar
I love Cliff Bars. I think they taste great. I noticed them because of the wrapper. I really like the colors on the wrappers. My favorite flavor is crunchy peanut butter. My favorite wrapper is the iced gingerbread seasonal flavor. That's all.....

yes, dogs
Here are the dogs at Letchworth. Gino looks like a beast in the first image, must have been the angle because I don't think he really looks like that. What do you think?
I can't believe I am on my 200th post. I have shared 200 thoughts to whoever reads this. Thanks for checking in!
I have added three drawings to my etsy shop and will continue to do so throughout the week. Here are some details.
I brought these with me to Salt City a couple of weekends ago and received some really good feedback about them. The event was a success and the outcome was unbelievable! I think around 1300 people came through.
Jen and I had a Halloween party on Saturday and I will try to post some pics of that, but maybe not to save myself from embarrassment. Keep stopping by because the momentum is shifting in my direction. I am excited about things lately. Uno.

ps with butter = finito
I finished ps with butter last night, but went to the studio today to see if it was really finished. It is. Here are two other drawings I am still working on. I need to have a super productive week and finish things up by next weds.
I still hate the last 2.

drawing focused
I am in painting mode but I do not have time to paint. I have time to make work, but I am focusing on smaller drawings. It is annoying because I want to paint really bad. I scraped my pallette to try and use up some of the colors before they go to waste. Only about 2 weeks to go until my new work has to be done. Back to drawing........

It's here! 2011 Calendar, year of the rabbit
In our first collaboration, Pistachio Press and I bring you our Fabulous 2011 Calendar! It seems like we have been waiting forever to post this. There has been talk about collaborating for a while now and this seemed like the perfect start.
The calendar is inspired by a trip to the west coast we took over the summer. We had an awesome time and I think it is reflected in the image. Did you know it is almost impossible to get a picture of a jack rabbit in the dessert?!
The size of the calendar is 11x17.5" tall and is hand printed on an antique Vandercook No. 4 letterpress with four hand-mixed inks. The image is hand drawn with hand written months. You can see more at our shops:

drawings.......
I feel like the only thing I can draw is dogs right now. I really don't know what to think of that. I am obsessed. In the works: ps with butter and of coarse Chapel No.2.
P.S. Tomorrow is the big announcement, bright and early!

Gino + Chapel = 2 tired dogs
It was a busy weekend for the dogs. I think this may have been the first time they actually fell asleep next to each other. The photos were taken by Jen who was taking a break from cleaning and painting and laundry and art projects.
