This work was part of the State of the City exhibit at Rochester Contemporary. It is my latest. I think it went well and I hope I can keep the ball rolling into the new year. Who knows. Other artists featured in the show included Avalanche Collective, Robert Burley, Ryan Boatright, and Bingyi Huang.
I say keep the ball rolling but I have not been in the studio in two months. I just can't seem to get in there. I guess I could be there now instead of posting a blog no one will read. I will do this anyways because it is homework. It is homework from friends that want to see me do 200% instead of 100%. I like that. If anyone cares to know the Buffalo Bills are 4-0.

Just a thought
I was thinking about not painting on canvas anymore. That is all I could think about at work yesterday. It is so traditional that I convinced myself it was boring. But today in the shower I completely changed my mind. I like tradition I guess. This painting is on canvas. It is from about 2 years ago and is titled 1979. I couldn't stop listening to The Killers and Johnny Cash during this time. It was fun.

Here we go
This is the first blog in the history of Jim DeLucia. It took me about 20 min to think of a name and about 10 deleted sentences to get to this point. Hi Rachael. It is a little boring now but I need a little more time to develop it. Maybe tom. I am tired and my wife just got home so I will go see her. Goodnight.
