new canvas

I have not painted much in the past 2 weeks or so.  I have been focusing on building more stretchers for canvas.  During breaks at work I would put one together so I don't have to waste my time outside of work doing them.  That plan worked out great.  Now I am stretching canvas in the studio.  I forgot how time consuming it can be and how beat up my knuckles get.  I can't wait to get painting on them.

 

   

  

  

I have one more to go and then to the gesso.  I am going to call it a day for now because I am sure there is more snow to shovel.  Rochester is getting hammered with snow,  but it's all good because it is snowman making snow!
