campione del mundo

I think it is almost finished.  I am not to sure about the red butterfly, I may paint over it.  I know I am getting close to the end because today was a difficult painting session.  I am trying not to over paint an area and that is what happened to the bulls face.  I wiped it off with thinner and tried to repaint.  Not sure how I feel about it now.  I wanted to add some highlights but am not sure if it needs any.  Same goes for the lips and tongue, I over painted them but I think I brought them back.  Let me know what you think, be mean if you want, I can take it.

Just realized how much glare is in the images, sorry.

Love the tongue, and the hooves are so much better now. Glad you added the tail. Also not sure about the red butterfly. I like something darker on that side, but this might be too direct...I'll have to think on it. Jake on the other hand thinks it's funny - that the bull is sicking his tongue out at the butterfly, almost like they're in combat.

niiice work. I have one of your prints from the second storie sale and i love it!

I'm not a huge fan of butterflies in most work...BUT i think this one adds a really sweet balance/contrast to the bull coloristically and conceptually.

Thanks for the input. I am also not a fan of butterflies but somehow they made it into a painting. Thanks again.

Jake is the man!
