I paint in spurts and quickly most of the time. Really I think I can paint for a half hour to an hour and that is enough. I can cover the canvas in that time without getting muddy. I don't know if that is good or bad, but it is part of my process. Maybe I need more pieces to work on. Did I just use I enough?

Look up Erin M. Riley - interesting technique (weaving tapestries) & concept pairing and makes me think of a gentler version of that same hostility idea ...
